Relics
Rare boss drops come out of the corpse rolled: a number between 0 and 1 that sets the item’s stats and its looks. The more nines it starts with, the rarer the relic. Each one carries a signed certificate and a record of every hand it has passed through.
How rolls are kept fair · Verify a relic · every relic page checks its own certificate in your browser.

Best roll of each item
Every boss item that has dropped as a relic, and its finest copy.
Grades
A relic’s grade is the number of nines its roll starts with. Stats scale with the roll up to 0.9, where they reach the top of the item’s range; from Superior on, each grade adds a little on top.
Every relic also has a pattern from 0 to 999 that tints its colours and picks its metal. Fourfold and Infinite relics take a name from the old words of the land, and the whole world hears when one is found. An Infinite relic looks like the Ond itself: the endless dark sea, rimmed with the gold of the first dawn.
